I have a very large concern about my ability to participate in the league. This may suck for me, and it may suck for the clan, depending on how well I can bring my playing up in a day.
These are the problems:
1. I am on the other side of the world from most of the other players-- the Europeans that is. This makes proper timing for me VERY difficult. I don't know about the times and such, but I play RtCW for around two hours during the afternoon-- this is Eastern time. (Around 4:00-5:00)
2. I have homework. I know all you other guys have homework too, but my parents are a hell of a lot stricter on the ability-to-get-on-the-computer issue. I am just getting to the end of my spring break, and I think that homework will head steadily up in magnitude-- this is not good, as I actually care about my grades.
3. My ability to get on the computer when ever I want DOES NOT EXIST. If I want to get on, I MUST ask permission from a parent. The parent WILL NOT care about whether or not I need to be there to play with my clan-- they just think games are stupid and pointless, and they don't know what a clan is. Hell, even telling them that I gotta support my team probably won't work.
4. I am seriously sorry about this. I already had the unfortunate problem of having to crap out on the {WG} scrim, at the last minute, because my mom decided to go over to my grandparents house. Now, to my mom, my grandparents are more important to any duty I have to fulfill by playing with my clan. I really, really, do NOT want what happened to the {WG} scrim happen with ANY of the league matches.
I feel absolutely terrible about letting down any of you, but I am not as free as many of you are. It sucks, my parents hate video games, and there is not a poopy thing I can do to change that. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is.
I need to make this announcement to make sure that you all understand me.
This is all I can say about my ability to play in matches:
I can not guarantee being able to make ANY MATCH PERIOD. You guys can post the times, I guess own3r would do that, and I can tell you if I might be able to make them. (I really probably need them at least one day in advance.)
Please understand that because I think I can make them, does not mean I can make them.
If I don't guarantee that I can make one, but end up being able to, I WILL join the proper server, and act as a back up if someone had to go do something.
If I do think I can make one, PLEASE have a back-up player in case I cannot.
If I do make one, then that's good and fine, and hopefully I might have helped the team a tiny bit.
Again, I feel terrible for doing something that some may call crapping out, but I am currently having a hard time with some family and personal things, and I cannot do anything about that.
